ARTIST
A self‑taught visual artist of Venezuelan origin, currently based in Zurich. Her pictorial practice develops through an intuitive investigation of color, form, and emotional experience, approaching painting as a space for visual construction and reflection.

Having grown up in an environment deeply shaped by the natural landscapes of Venezuela and having lived in Switzerland for over a decade, her work exists in an ongoing dialogue between contrasting geographies and cultural contexts. This displacement has significantly informed her visual sensitivity and the development of her artistic language.
​Travel and the observation of new environments play a central role in her creative process, manifesting in chromatic decisions, compositional structures, and material experimentation.
ARTIST STATMENT
My painting practice operates within a space between abstraction and figuration, where nature functions as a constant reference—not through direct representation, but as a structural presence that informs composition, color, and gesture. I approach painting as a process of translating experience and memory into visual language.

Color plays a central role in my work, acting as an active element that generates tension, movement, and atmosphere. I am interested in the relationship between chromatic energy and formal sensitivity, constructing surfaces that evoke emotional landscapes rather than identifiable places.

I work primarily on canvas using oil, acrylic, and mixed media, incorporating additional materials such as pastel crayons, imitation gold leaf, modelling paste and spray paint. My process combines intuition and discipline, relying on sustained practice and material research as fundamental tools for the evolution of the work.
